Nameless

Nameless (ネームレス) is a character who debuted in The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match. He is the 9,999th clone of Kyo Kusanagi created by NESTS and the sole survivor of "Project Ж." Raised on the NESTS base on the Martian moon Demios, he and his fellow clones struggled to control their flame powers, often resulting in injury or death. He fell in love with Isolde, another NESTS test subject, but she died in combat testing, and her DNA was infused into Nameless's prosthetic arm, enabling him to control his powers and transform the arm into various weapons. Driven by the desire to resurrect Isolde, Nameless is a tragic character who represses his emotions to follow his creators' orders. In gameplay, he is known for his high damage Max Mode combos, though his meterless damage is lower. With unique tools and pokes, he is a top-tier character in KOF 2002 UM.
