Brian Battler

Brian Battler (ブライアン・バトラー) is a character from The King of Fighters (KOF) series, first appearing in The King of Fighters '94. He is an American football player and a member of the USA Sports Team, alongside Heavy D! and Lucky Glauber. Despite being named MVP of the year, Brian is known for his violent behavior and pleasure in tackling opponents. His design is inspired by American football and wrestling, with his moves reflecting this. In KOF '94, Brian joined the team at Heavy D!'s invitation. Though he claimed he would return to football after the tournament, his team has a running gag of losing their KOF invitations to other teams. Brian also appears in KOF '98, as well as in some backgrounds and endings. His appearance and moves are somewhat exaggerated, yet he remains a memorable early KOF character. In KOF All Star, he even appears in a gender-bent version. Brian’s fighting style is power-based, focusing on grappling and tackles. His special moves include “Brian Tornado,” “Hyper Tackle,” and “Screw Body Press.”
