Luan

Luan is a minor character in the fighting game series *The King of Fighters*. She first appeared in *The King of Fighters 2001* during one of Lin's win poses. Luan is a member of the Hizoku assassin clan and one of the Four Devas. She is a black-haired woman dressed in orange clothing. She is considered to be the strongest of the Four Devas, though her fighting abilities are not directly shown in the games. She is a childhood friend of Duo Lon, but they grew apart after Ron betrayed the Hizoku and killed her family. Despite this, she shares a goal with Duo Lon: to avenge their families by killing Ron. Luan disregards the clan's code, mainly seeking vengeance, and sees herself as Duo Lon's rival, believing she will achieve this goal before him. Luan is stern and sarcastic and does not think highly of weak women like Xiao Lon. Although she labels Duo Lon as an enemy, she is nostalgic about their shared past and continues to respect him. She is skilled in using a long cord that she pulls out from her pocket as a weapon, and is said to have been taught the same techniques as Duo Lon.
