Joe Higashi

Joe Higashi, known as a comedic character in The King of Fighters series and a classic character from the Fatal Fury series, is also known as ジョー・ヒガシ or 東丈 in Japanese. His official nickname is 'The Young Champ of Muay Thai.' Joe primarily fights using Muay Thai and is famous for his signature 'Hurricane Upper' move. He is a cheerful, self-proclaimed genius who loves fighting and the spotlight, though he doesn't take battles as seriously as the Bogard brothers. Joe's romantic relationship with Lilly Kane is strongly opposed by her brother Billy, which becomes a recurring subplot in the series. In the games, Joe is a versatile character with tools for both pressuring opponents and zoning, allowing players to choose different tactics depending on the matchup. Joe's moves include 'Hurricane Upper,' 'Tiger Kick,' 'Slash Kick,' and 'Bakuretsuken.' His 'Bakuretsuken' is particularly well-known for its ability to be extended through rapid button presses, enabling a variety of combos.
