Raiden

Raiden, also known as ライデン (Raiden) in Japanese, is a professional wrestler from the Fatal Fury series who appears in The King of Fighters (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ) series. He first debuted in Fatal Fury as a heel and later made his debut in The King of Fighters XII. Developers intended him to be the 'big burly guy' for the cast. Raiden is inspired by the late professional wrestler Big Van Vader. In the storyline, he was once a henchman of Geese Howard before focusing on his wrestling career. He is mistakenly believed to still work for Geese, leading to Kim Kaphawn forcing him into a 'training' program. Although reluctant, Raiden aims to use the King of Fighters tournament as an advertisement for his wrestling career. Known for his powerful throws and dominance, particularly with his dropkicks in earlier versions of KOF XIII, Raiden combines heel tactics with wrestling techniques. Nicknamed 'The Out-of-Control Giant,' he boasts immense strength and an aggressive fighting style. His versatile wrestling moves make him a memorable character in The King of Fighters series.
