Ryuji Yamazaki

Ryuji Yamazaki, also known as Yamazaki Ryuji, is a character from SNK's fighting games *Fatal Fury* and *The King of Fighters* series. He first appeared as an antagonist in *Fatal Fury 3* and later became a recurring character in *The King of Fighters* series. Yamazaki is a twisted and violent gangster. He was once an orphan who, after joining the underworld, saw a gang boss as a father figure. However, the gruesome death of this boss caused a drastic change in his personality, making him cold and ruthless. Yamazaki's fighting style is unique, not adhering to traditional martial arts, but rather a mix of various street-fighting techniques, often using dirty tactics like knives and sand. His most famous move is "Serpent Slash," an attack that involves dislocating his arm to strike. In *The King of Fighters* series, Yamazaki is established as one of the Eight Hakkesshu of Orochi, but he has no interest in Orochi's mission, acting solely for his own benefit, making him a highly individualistic villain. Ryuji Yamazaki is loved by players for his wild personality and powerful fighting abilities.
