Sokaku Mochizuki

Sokaku Mochizuki is a character from the Fatal Fury series, not The King of Fighters (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ) series. He is a Buddhist monk from an ancient family that rivals the Shiranui ninja clan. Sokaku is dedicated to hunting and destroying sources of chaos called 'Shura,' and in pursuit of this goal, he wields controlled dark entities. He is said to be the finest member his clan has produced, and believes that the 'Jin Scrolls' are the source of Shura, seeking to destroy them. Sokaku takes his clan's duties very seriously. Though not evil, he will use 'evil' forces to achieve his goals. He enjoys simple things in life, like family. His fighting style combines Bojutsu moves with some ninja techniques, and he can summon powerful spirits to attack. Despite his relatively generic appearance, his unique combat style and backstory have made him a recognizable figure in the Fatal Fury series. He does not appear in The King of Fighters series.
