Jin Chonrei

Jin Chonrei, also known as Qin Chong Lei or ジン・チョンレイ, is a character from SNK's fighting game series *Fatal Fury*, and has also appeared in some *King of Fighters* titles as a background element. He first appeared as a hidden boss in *Fatal Fury 3*. Jin Chonrei is the older twin brother of Jin Chonshu. Their parents died of an epidemic when they were young, and their father told them before his death that they were descendants of Qin Wang Long, a general of the Qin Dynasty. As the brothers grew older, they developed a hatred for humanity, and were later possessed by the spirits of their ancestors from more than two thousand years ago, Qin Kong Long and Qin Hai Long. Qin Kong Long granted Jin Chonrei powerful combat abilities. To resurrect their ancestors and rule the world, the brothers began to search for the *Qin Book of Secrets*, but were ultimately defeated by Terry Bogard and others. In the *Real Bout Fatal Fury* series, Jin Chonrei gradually breaks free from the control of his ancestor's spirit and starts training under Tung Fu Rue. His fighting style is known as the Sovereign Fist (Teiouken), characterized by powerful chi control and fast movements. Jin Chonrei is brutal and direct, but very protective of his younger brother. Although their initial goal was to conquer the world, he and his brother eventually choose to live normal lives.
