Hon-Fu

Hon-Fu, also known as Hóng Hǔ or ホンフゥ, is a character first introduced in the SNK fighting game *Fatal Fury 3*, and later appeared in *The King of Fighters* series. He is a Hong Kong detective dedicated to pursuing criminals. Hon-Fu's signature weapon is the nunchaku, and his fighting style incorporates acrobatic maneuvers with Chinese Kung Fu techniques. He has a cheerful personality and is occasionally clumsy, but he is very serious about his work and possesses a strong sense of justice. He is friends with Kim Kaphwan and is credited with introducing Kim to Myeng Swuk. Despite being afraid of Kim, he maintains a deep friendship with him. In the storyline, Hon-Fu is primarily responsible for investigating drug smuggling in Asia, which leads him to follow the criminal Ryuji Yamazaki to South Town, though he always ends up losing sight of him, becoming a running gag in the series. Although not a main character in *The King of Fighters* series, his unique personality and fighting style have made him a fan favorite. He is also a fire manipulator and excels in fighting with nunchaku. His character design and action style are steeped in Chinese Kung Fu elements.
