Laurence Blood

Laurence Blood, also spelled "Lawrence Blood", is a character from the Fatal Fury series. He is a former Spanish matador who uses a self-styled martial art based on his deadly bullfighting methods. He serves as the right-hand man and servant of Wolfgang Krauser and participates in tournaments at his request. Laurence is a world-renowned bullfighter, capable of gracefully dodging bull charges and killing them with a single sword stroke. From a young age, his family has had close ties with the Earl of Strolheim. Having served the Krauser family for generations, the Blood clan has always been faithful followers. Laurence has not forgotten that vow, serving the latest successor to the Strolheim heir in exchange for Krauser’s support of his training as a bullfighter. This trade worked out well, with Krauser getting a respected and feared bodyguard and Laurence earning fame in the bullfighting arena. Laurence uses his interpretation of bullfighting moves to subdue enemies, and his fighting style is similar to fencing, French Savate, and Basque Zipota. He appears in the Fatal Fury anime film and the King of Fighters series.
