Marco Rodriguez, known in Japanese as マルコ・ロドリゲス, is a character from the Fatal Fury series, first appearing in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. He is a practitioner of Kyokugenryu Karate, considered the successor to Ryo Sakazaki. Marco's personality balances between goofy and serious; he is reckless yet wise. He holds great respect for his master and sees Tizoc as a worthy adversary. In Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Marco entered the "King of Fighters: Maximum Mayhem" tournament to prove the strength of Kyokugenryu Karate. After returning, he learned that his students had been defeated by the "Gym Buster," leading him on a quest to find this person. In the latest installment, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, Marco is once again fighting to restore the reputation of his dojo and retrieve his stolen dojo signboard. His fighting style is rooted in Kyokugenryu Karate, similar to Ryo and Takuma Sakazaki.
