Hokutomaru

Hokutomaru, also known as Hokutomaru and ほくとまる, is a character from SNK's fighting game series, Fatal Fury, first appearing in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. He is Andy Bogard's disciple, a young ninja practitioner of Shiranui-ryu ninjutsu. Hokutomaru has trained in the mountains since childhood, unfamiliar with the ways of the world, and is curious about city life, displaying a lively and energetic personality and disliking being treated like a child. His fighting style combines elements of both Andy and Mai Shiranui, making him a quick and unpredictable opponent. Although Hokutomaru is not a playable character in The King of Fighters series, he is mentioned in the storyline, such as in The King of Fighters 2003, where Andy is absent from the tournament to care for the sick Hokutomaru. Additionally, in the Days of Memories series, he is portrayed as a relative of Mai Shiranui, living with her. Hokutomaru showcases his unique personality and background across various games, establishing him as a well-regarded young character in SNK's roster.
