Mickey Rogers

Mickey Rogers, also known as "Mickey the Mauler," is a character in SNK's fighting game series *Art of Fighting*. He is a black boxer who grew up in poverty and dreamed of becoming a world champion. However, after being cheated by a coach and accidentally injuring someone, he gave up on boxing and even joined a gang. He appeared as a CPU-controlled character in the first *Art of Fighting* and became a playable character in *Art of Fighting 2*. Later, Mickey appeared as a background character in *The King of Fighters* series. The King of Fighters series was originally the fighting tournament of *Fatal Fury* and *Art of Fighting*. Mickey's fighting style is traditional boxing, using powerful uppercuts and other punches. His moves include "Burning Upper" and "Rolling Upper". He briefly worked for Mr. Big before realizing he wanted to return to the ring and pursue his dream. Mickey's name is inspired by Disney's Mickey Mouse. He has a younger brother, and inspired by him, he rekindles his dream and decides to return to professional boxing.
