Rody Birts (ロディ・バーツ) is a character introduced in Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior, a spin-off of the Fatal Fury series. He is a bounty hunter who partners with Lenny Creston, hired by Wyler to find Freia Lawrence. Rody and Lenny are known for having a poor professional reputation. He fights with tonfas and is believed to be a former police officer. Rody is an ambivalent and empathetic character, traits that are sometimes tragic for his occupation. Despite not having romantic feelings for his partner, he trusts that Lenny believes in him. In The King of Fighters (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ) series, Rody does not appear as a playable character. He is primarily active in the Art of Fighting universe. While The King of Fighters incorporates many characters from Art of Fighting, Rody, as a new character in Art of Fighting 3, was not included in the KOF setting. He is remembered for his unique weapons and background story within the Art of Fighting 3 game.
