Hanzo Hattori

Hanzo Hattori, in Japanese: 服部 半蔵 (Hattori Hanzō), is a prominent character in the fighting game series "The King of Fighters" (KOF). He is not originally a KOF character but comes from SNK's other well-known fighting game, "Samurai Shodown". Hanzo in "Samurai Shodown" is a ninja serving the Tokugawa shogunate, known for his Iga-style ninjutsu combat. He is recognized for his mysterious persona, swift attacks, and unique ninja skills. In KOF series, he usually appears as a hidden or unlockable character, retaining his ninja traits from "Samurai Shodown", such as teleportation and clone techniques, while adapted to KOF's fighting mechanics. The character design of Hanzo Hattori is inspired by the historical figure of the same name, a famous samurai and ninja leader, but in the games, he is generally depicted as a mysterious and powerful ninja.
