Shinnosuke Kagami

Shinnosuke Kagami, commonly known as Kagami, is a 31-year-old character from The Last Blade series. He is one of the Four Gods, housing the spirit of Suzaku, the Vermilion Sparrow, guarding “Hell’s Gate”. Initially featured as the final boss in the first game, he became a playable character in the sequel. Kagami is symbolized by his Western clothing and sword. He initially deemed humans weak and inferior, leading him to attempt to open Hell's Gate and murder many warriors, including Gaisei. After being defeated by Kaede, who possessed the Seiryu power, Kagami was cast into Hell's Gate. He was later reborn in a new form to fulfill his guardian duties and seek atonement. In the storyline, he initially loathed humanity but eventually came to believe they were the hope of the future. He is depicted as a refined gentleman, but pretentious towards those who do not amuse him. Kagami’s fighting style blends his own version of kendo with pyrokinesis, characterized by wide, careful one-handed swings, incorporating telekinetic flight. When awakened, his flames turn blue.
