Greys

The "Greys" in the Silent Hill series typically refer to the classic alien figures that appear in the UFO endings of the games. They are recurring characters within the series, primarily featured in non-canonical, joke endings, and are therefore not considered part of the main storyline. Greys are generally depicted as typical alien figures, with large heads and slender bodies. Their appearance and scenarios vary across different Silent Hill games, but they usually carry a comedic or absurd tone. For example, in the first Silent Hill, Harry Mason is abducted by Greys, while James Sunderland has a similar experience in Silent Hill 2. Greys also make appearances in titles like Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill: Origins, each time accompanied by UFOs or paranormal phenomena. Although not part of the main plot, the appearance of Greys adds to the humor and mystery of the Silent Hill series, becoming a unique cultural symbol of the franchise.
