Andrew DeSalvo

Andrew DeSalvo is a nervous man who appears in *Silent Hill 4: The Room*. In the game, Henry Townshend meets Andrew, who is locked in a cell in the Water Prison World. Prior to the game's events, Andrew was employed by the Order as a guard at the Wish House Orphanage and the Water Prison, though he was not a member of the Order himself. He was abusive to the children there and it's hinted in Walter Sullivan's diary that he may have killed Walter's childhood friend 'Bob', or at least caused his disappearance. The Prisoner's Shirt implies that Andrew may have forced Walter or someone else to drink water with leeches in it. After being freed by Henry in the Water Prison, Andrew is killed by young Walter, becoming Walter's 18th victim. Later, Andrew appears as a ghost that Henry must fight to obtain a key. His ghost is dangerous, using a barrel roll attack and having a strong aura. His item is a bloody shirt which Henry later uses to uncover a message. In the *Silent Hill* series, Andrew is a tragic figure, descending from abuser to victim, ultimately consumed by his own evil deeds.
