Rick Albert

Rick Albert is a fictional character in the Silent Hill series, serving as the manager of a sporting goods store, Albert's Sporting Goods, in Ashfield. In Silent Hill 4: The Room, he is a victim of Walter Sullivan's 'Ritual of the Holy Assumption', where he is brutally murdered with a golf club and his heart is removed. Rick is identified as the 'Fifth of the Ten Hearts,' signifying his position as the fifth victim. His death marks a step in Sullivan's ritual, and his leftover item—a volleyball—is later used by Henry Townshend as a key to leave the Building World. Although not a major character, Rick's tragic fate and symbolic role contribute to the themes of fear, death, and ritual that permeate the Silent Hill series. His brief presence highlights the brutality of the antagonists and the vulnerability of innocent life within the Silent Hill universe.
