Curtis Ackers

Curtis Ackers is one of the primary antagonists in Silent Hill: Homecoming. He is a resident of Shepherd's Glen who owns a scrapyard and works as a mechanic and handyman. He is portrayed as a gruff man who is familiar with Adam Shepherd. In the game, Alex Shepherd, Adam's son, first encounters Curtis while investigating the state of Shepherd's Glen. Curtis is alone inside his shop, where he trades Alex a functioning firearm for an old, broken revolver Alex got from his mother. During their conversation, Curtis expresses frustration with the town's clocks, which he is unable to fix, noting that they all stopped at 2:06. Later in the game, Curtis joins the Order's soldiers and encounters Alex again in the church's basement, ultimately dying in a fight with Alex. Ackers is depicted as a loner, mostly silent, and displaying sociopathic tendencies, and described as a homicidal maniac.
