Bobby Ricks

Bobby Ricks, also known as DJ Ricks, is a character in Silent Hill: Downpour. He is a radio DJ working at the local radio station WLMN FM. Ricks operates the radio station in the Centennial Building, a famous landmark. Ricks was in a similar situation to Murphy Pendleton but lacked the courage to face the horrors of Silent Hill, therefore he was trapped inside the radio station, trying to reach out to others who might help him escape. In the DLC of Silent Hill: Book of Memories, it is revealed that Ricks' backstory involves him getting trapped in Silent Hill due to an incident that led to someone being shot and murdered. In the game, Murphy hears Ricks' broadcasts over the radio and eventually encounters him at the radio station at the top of the Centennial Building. Ricks hopes to collaborate with Murphy to escape the town using a boat docked at the marina, but the boat keys were stolen. During his conversation with Murphy, Anne Marie Cunningham appears and holds Murphy at gunpoint. Subsequently, Ricks receives a phone call and is attacked by monsters, ultimately resulting in his death. Ricks' motives are unclear, and it remains unknown who called him to send out the radio messages.
