Parasitized Doctor

In the Silent Hill series, the Parasitized Doctor (also known as Puppet Doctor) is an enemy found in Alchemilla Hospital. These doctors are infected by a parasite, similar to the Puppet Nurses. They wear white lab coats and ties, but their bodies are hunched over, as if they are puppets being controlled. They typically attack the player using knives. These Parasitized Doctors are stronger but slower than the nurses, and they primarily appear in the “Otherworld” version of the hospital. Their existence may symbolize Alessa Gillespie's perception of the hospital being controlled like puppets under the influence of the cult and drugs, as well as her hatred of doctors. They are considered monsters created by Alessa's subconscious. In the game, the use of Aglaophotis can counteract the parasite’s effects, suggesting a connection with the cult and drugs. Although they do not appear often in the game, the Parasitized Doctors remain an impressive enemy within Silent Hill, embodying the game's deep psychological horror themes.
