Angel / Archangel

Angel/Archangel, whose real name is Warren Kenneth Worthington III, is a fictional superhero character in Marvel Comics. He originally appeared as Angel, a founding member of the X-Men. Worthington is a mutant with large feathered wings that enable him to fly. He is also the heir and CEO of Worthington Industries. He was initially portrayed as an arrogant and self-absorbed playboy, but later became more introspective and brooding. In one event, Worthington's wings were brutally removed, leading to his recruitment by the ancient mutant Apocalypse and his transformation into the Horseman Death. As Archangel, Worthington gained blue skin and organic metal wings that can fire metallic feathers, becoming more powerful and aggressive. Although he was once under Apocalypse's control, he eventually broke free and has since struggled with his dual identities as both Angel and Archangel, continuing to fight to protect mutants.
