Beetle / MACH-V

Abner Jenkins, also known as Beetle and MACH-I through MACH-X, is a complex character in Marvel Comics. Initially an aircraft mechanic dissatisfied with his low-paying job, he used his mechanical knowledge to create an armored flight suit and became the supervillain Beetle. He clashed with heroes like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the Avengers. He later joined the Thunderbolts, a team of villains posing as heroes, and rebranded himself as MACH-1. After experiencing heroism, Jenkins grew to like this life and decided to genuinely reform. He served time in prison and made peace with his past. He upgraded his armor numerous times, taking on different MACH identities, including MACH-2, MACH-3, MACH-V, and MACH-X.
