Star-Lord

Star-Lord, whose real name is Peter Quill, is a fictional superhero appearing in Marvel Comics. He is the son of a human mother and an alien father and assumes the mantle of Star-Lord, an interplanetary policeman. In the comics, he played a significant role in crossover events such as Annihilation (2006) and Annihilation: Conquest (2007), and became the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy in 2008. Star-Lord possesses high intelligence, leadership skills, and combat expertise, is proficient in close-quarters combat, various human and alien firearms, and has extensive knowledge of alien cultures. He has been an interplanetary policeman, adventurer, vigilante, and even a royal prince and emperor of Spartax. His signature Element Gun can project air, earth, fire, and water. Chris Pratt portrays Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers films, which has brought the character to wider audiences.
