Lockheed

Lockheed is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with the X-Men. He is a purple-skinned, dragon-like alien, a brave warrior from a highly advanced extraterrestrial race. His species' society is structured similarly to insect colonies, where the individual is part of a "Flock." Lockheed was celebrated as a hero for his battles against the parasitic Brood. He met Kitty Pryde during an X-Men abduction by the Brood and saved her. He left his people and journeyed to Earth with her, becoming her loyal companion. Lockheed has the ability to fly, breathe fire, resist powerful telepathy, and sense emotions through empathy. He has been a member of the X-Men and the British superhero team Excalibur. Despite his small size, Lockheed is a formidable fighter who often risks his life to protect Kitty. He also worked as a secret agent for S.W.O.R.D. and has fought alongside Kitty in various battles against numerous threats.
