Psylocke

Psylocke is the codename of two connected fictional mutant superheroes appearing in Marvel Comics. The first character to use the moniker was Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock, a British woman who was initially a supporting character in stories about her twin brother, Brian, before joining the X-Men. For 29 years of publication history, Betsy’s mind was trapped in the body of the assassin Kwannon. After both women returned to their original bodies, Betsy became Captain Britain while Kwannon took on the mantle of Psylocke. Both characters possess telepathic and telekinetic abilities, though they manifest in different ways. Betsy is known for her telepathic abilities and psychic knife, while Kwannon channels her mental energy into more powerful weapons such as a psychic katana. Psylocke has been featured prominently in the X-Men comics, as well as various animations, films, and video games.
