She-Hulk (real name Jennifer Susan Walters) is a fictional superhero character appearing in Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema, she first appeared in Savage She-Hulk #1 (February 1980). Jennifer is a talented lawyer and the cousin of Bruce Banner (the Hulk). After being critically injured in a shooting, she received an emergency blood transfusion from Bruce, which resulted in her gaining a milder version of his gamma-powered abilities. Unlike the Hulk, She-Hulk retains most of her intelligence and personality in her transformed state, allowing her greater control over her powers. She has been a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and other teams, and often uses her legal skills to provide counsel to other superheroes. She-Hulk is known for her strength, legal acumen, and her fourth-wall-breaking humor. Beyond comics, she has appeared in animation, video games, and the live-action TV series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where she is portrayed by Tatiana Maslany.
