Nova

Nova is a character in Marvel Comics, typically referring to Richard Rider, a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps. Richard Rider was originally an ordinary high school student who was chosen by the dying Xandarian Nova Corps member Rhomann Dey to receive the powers of the Nova Corps, becoming a superhero.
