Carnage is a supervillain in Marvel Comics, and an offspring of the Venom symbiote. The symbiote bonded with serial killer Cletus Kasady, resulting in the extremely violent and psychotic Carnage. Unlike Venom, Carnage does not seek to be an anti-hero, instead reveling in indiscriminate killing and chaos. Carnage's symbiote grants him superhuman strength, durability, agility, and the ability to generate sharp tendrils and weapons. He is often portrayed as a formidable foe of Spider-Man, and his gruesome and terrifying actions have made him one of the most fearsome villains in the Marvel Universe. His storylines involve numerous conflicts with other villains and heroes, and he has appeared in various media, including comics, animations, video games, and the live-action movie 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage', portrayed by Woody Harrelson. Carnage's origins and evolution involve multiple physical and mental transformations, even reaching god-like power. Throughout different storylines, he has shown an extreme pursuit of power, continually enhancing himself by absorbing the strength of other symbiotes and exploiting magic, making him a chilling presence in the Marvel Universe.
