Constrictor

Constrictor is the name of two fictional characters appearing in Marvel Comics. The first version is Frank Payne, who was initially a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent before becoming a mercenary criminal. He was given a snake-themed costume and a pair of wrist-mounted electrified metal coils to infiltrate the criminal organization called the Corporation, but ultimately suffered a nervous breakdown and became a career criminal. He has fought numerous heroes, including the Hulk, Captain America, and Iron Man. Payne later joined S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Shadow Initiative, losing his arms and replacing them with bionic ones that could emit the same electrified metal coils as his signature weapon. He has also been a member of the Masters of Evil and the Frightful Four. During the Dark Reign storyline, he developed a romantic relationship with Diamondback, but ultimately returned to criminal activities. Frank eventually died of illness. The second version is Frank's son, who inherited his father's suit and weaponry and also became a criminal.
