Crimson Cowl

The Crimson Cowl is an alias used by multiple characters in Marvel Comics. The first to use the identity was Ultron, who disguised himself as the Crimson Cowl to lead his version of the Masters of Evil. Later, Justine Hammer, the daughter of arms dealer Justin Hammer, also adopted the alias. She formed a new Masters of Evil in an attempt to prove herself and battled the Thunderbolts. Justine Hammer's Crimson Cowl is a shrewd strategist and capable fighter with a high-tech cloak that can stretch, grab, constrict enemies, and teleport. She once tried to blackmail the world’s governments with weather control technology. In some storylines, Dallas Riordan was briefly portrayed as the Crimson Cowl but was actually a decoy used by Justine Hammer using her technology. The Crimson Cowl identity represents high-tech crime and anti-heroism in the Marvel Universe.
