Hydro-Man, whose real name is Morris Bench, is a fictional supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics. Originally a crewman on a cargo ship, he was accidentally knocked into the ocean during a battle between Spider-Man and Namor. Exposed to radiation from an experimental generator, he gained the ability to transform his body into water, becoming Hydro-Man. Blaming Spider-Man for his transformation, he turned to a life of crime. Hydro-Man can transform himself into a liquid state and manipulate water. He often teams up with other villains like the Sinister Six, Sinister Syndicate, and Frightful Four. Despite his powers, Hydro-Man is frequently defeated due to his lack of intelligence. He once merged with Sandman to become the Mud-Thing. Hydro-Man has appeared in various Spider-Man animated series and video games, and a version of him appeared as an illusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film *Spider-Man: Far From Home*. In various comic storylines, his abilities have been enhanced, and he has worked with various villains, but he remains a consistent foe of Spider-Man.
