Juggernaut

Juggernaut, whose real name is Cain Marko, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in X-Men #12 (July 1965), created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Juggernaut is not a mutant; rather, he gained his immense power by touching the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, a mystical entity. This gem grants him superhuman strength, durability, and near-invulnerability, along with a helmet that protects him from mental attacks. Despite not being a mutant, Juggernaut is often associated with the Brotherhood of Mutants. Throughout Marvel Comics history, Juggernaut has clashed with various superheroes, including the X-Men, Spider-Man, and the Hulk. He has also been featured in films, animated series, and video games. He was portrayed by Vinnie Jones in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2 (2018), and Aaron W. Reed in Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). The character is inspired by the Hindu deity Jagannath, known for his unstoppable force and destructive capabilities.
