Lizard

The Lizard, also known as Dr. Curtis Connors, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics, first introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man #6. He is a brilliant biologist who researches reptilian regeneration, attempting to develop a serum from lizard DNA that would regrow human limbs. During an experiment, Connors injected himself with the serum, which resulted in his arm regenerating, but it also transformed him into a ferocious humanoid lizard. The Lizard possesses superhuman strength, speed, and durability, along with sharp claws and teeth, and is a frequent foe of Spider-Man. In different storylines, the Lizard's intelligence varies, sometimes retaining Connors' intellect and other times behaving like a wild animal. His goals typically involve world domination or transforming humanity into lizard people.
