Trickshot

In Marvel Comics, the name Trickshot refers to two different characters. The first is Buck Chisholm, a circus archer and mentor to Hawkeye (Clint Barton). Chisholm trained the young Clint to become a skilled archer but also tried to lure him into a life of crime. Later, Chisholm developed cancer and challenged Hawkeye in order to die with honor. Though Hawkeye defeated him, he chose not to kill him. Afterwards, Chisholm aided Hawkeye against other villains and ultimately died of cancer. The second Trickshot is Charles Bernard “Barney” Barton, Hawkeye's brother. Barney was a former FBI agent who was resurrected and transformed into an archer rivaling Hawkeye. He has been an enemy of Hawkeye multiple times, joined the Dark Avengers, and eventually reconciled with Hawkeye. Both Trickshots are highly skilled archers and fighters, but Chisholm is more of a complex mentor figure, while Barney is more of an antagonist to Hawkeye.
