Dark Avengers

The Dark Avengers are a fictional supervillain team in Marvel Comics, first appearing in a 2009 comic book series. The team was formed by Norman Osborn, with its members largely consisting of villains disguised as established heroes. The Dark Avengers were a central part of the “Dark Reign” storyline, in which Norman Osborn seized power in the U.S. after the Skrull invasion and replaced S.H.I.E.L.D. with H.A.M.M.E.R. The initial roster included Moonstone (posing as Ms. Marvel), Venom (posing as Spider-Man), Bullseye (posing as Hawkeye), and Daken (posing as Wolverine), among others. Norman Osborn himself led the team as the Iron Patriot. The Dark Avengers were presented to the public as heroes, but in reality, they were an unstable group of villains. They were involved in major events, including the Siege of Asgard, which ultimately led to the team's disbandment. Nevertheless, the Dark Avengers are notable in the Marvel Universe for their unique antiheroic portrayal and dark origins.
