Celestial

The Celestials are an ancient and powerful cosmic race in the Marvel Universe, possessing vast matter and energy manipulation abilities. They are involved in the creation and evolution of the universe, including the birthing of galaxies and the fostering of life. The Celestials often travel the cosmos, visiting planets in what are known as 'Hosts' to experiment on and judge lower life-forms. They are responsible for the creation of the Eternals and Deviants, and have interfered with life on Earth multiple times, shaping the evolution of humans and mutants during key moments in its history. Some notable Celestials include Arishem, Eson, and Ego. The Celestials' origins can be traced back to the First Firmament, an embodiment of the first universe. They engaged in a war with the Aspirants, a race desiring to maintain the status quo, ultimately leading to the birth of the Multiverse. The Celestials play a complex and mysterious role in the Marvel Universe, acting as both creators and potential destroyers, with their existence profoundly impacting the fate of the entire cosmos.
