Champions

There are multiple superhero teams called "Champions" in the Marvel Universe. The first Champions team debuted in 1975, consisting of Angel, Iceman, Black Widow, Hercules, and Ghost Rider. They were a group of heroes based in Los Angeles meant to serve the common person, but they disbanded due to a lack of cohesion. In 2016, a new Champions team was formed, composed of young superheroes, including Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Nova, Hulk (Amadeus Cho), Viv Vision (daughter of Vision), and a teenage Cyclops. They came together out of disillusionment with their elder superhero counterparts, aiming to change the world through hope and wisdom. This team has been involved in various events, battling foes like Hydra and the High Evolutionary. Additionally, "Marvel Contest of Champions" is a popular fighting game where players assume the role of a Summoner, collecting and upgrading heroes and villains from the Marvel universe, using them in combat. The game features over 200 playable characters with unique abilities and traits.
