The Runaways are a Marvel Comics superhero team composed of teenagers who discover their parents are members of a criminal organization called “The Pride.” The original team consists of Alex Wilder, Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Gertrude Yorkes, Chase Stein, and Molly Hayes. They flee their homes and use their unique abilities and resources to fight against their parents' evil activities. Later, Victor Mancha, Xavin, and Klara Prast join the team. In the comics, they are often referred to as “the Pride’s kids” or “those kids in L.A.” The Runaways' stories are told from a teenage perspective and explore themes of family, friendship, and rebellion against authority. They also interact with other Marvel heroes. Additionally, The Runaways has been adapted into a TV series of the same name, set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which aired on Hulu before being removed by Disney+ and later appearing on The CW streaming website. This series is known for its unique teenage perspective and engaging stories.
