Annihilators

Beyond the well-known Marvel superhero teams like the Avengers, X-Men, and Guardians of the Galaxy, there exists a powerful but often overlooked team called the Annihilators. This team is composed of some of the most powerful cosmic beings, assembled to face cosmic crises that no ordinary superhero team could handle. The Annihilators were initially formed through the dying wish of Star-Lord, and were assembled by the cosmic telepath Cosmo. The original lineup included Silver Surfer, Quasar, Ronan, Gladiator, and Beta Ray Bill. Their strength is purely raw power, with each member capable of wiping out entire armies on their own. The Annihilators were formed to deal with cosmic threats that arose following events such as Annihilation and the Thanos Imperative. Their missions have included stopping Blastaar's attack on the Inhumans, as well as facing threats like the Dark Sun and a resurrected Magus. Despite being a formidable team, the Annihilators have often been overlooked and disbanded after just a few missions. Nonetheless, they are seen as the ultimate line of defense against universe-shattering threats.
