Yoshi

Yoshi (ヨッシー) is an iconic character in the Super Mario series, debuting in 1990's Super Mario World. He is a dinosaur-like creature, typically depicted as green, though many other colors exist. Yoshi is a key ally to Mario, often appearing as a rideable character, and is known for his cute appearance, friendly personality, unique 'flutter-jump' ability, and egg-laying capabilities. In addition to his significant role in the Super Mario series, Yoshi stars in his own series of games, including Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story, which showcase his abilities and unique gameplay mechanics.
