Sabukan

In the Super Mario series, "Sabukan" (サブカン) typically refers to the "pipes" in the game. Although the official games don't directly call the pipes "Sabukan", this term may originate from a Japanese way of referring to pipes or a nickname among players. Pipes play a crucial role in Mario games, serving as passages to connect different areas, often hiding secret passages or bonus levels. They vary in design, appearing in green, red, or other colors, and come in different sizes and shapes. In the game, Mario can jump into pipes to quickly move to other locations, and even enter hidden areas. Some pipes also shoot out enemies or only appear under specific conditions. In summary, pipes are an indispensable part of the Super Mario world, providing players with convenient ways of movement, while also increasing the game's exploration and fun.
