Kingfin

Kingfin, also known as the Bonefin, is a colossal skeletal shark-like boss in Super Mario Galaxy, residing in the Bonefin Galaxy. He serves as the main boss of that galaxy, and the third/penultimate boss of the Engine Room, overall the seventeenth/eighteenth boss of the game if counting the Mandibug Stack. Kingfin has glowing yellow eyes that emit a bright glow, enhancing his ability to see in the dark. In battle, he commands a legion of Bonefins that attack Mario, and summons more as he takes damage. Mario must use Koopa Shells to attack him five times to defeat him. Kingfin's name is a portmanteau of 'kingpin' and 'fin', reflecting his position as the leader of the Bonefins. He is sometimes mistakenly referred to as 'the Bonefin' in the official guide, Nintendo Power magazine, and on his trading card for Super Mario Galaxy.
