Toadsworth

Toadsworth (Japanese: キノじい) is a recurring character in the Super Mario series, first appearing in Super Mario Sunshine. He is an elderly Toad who serves as Princess Peach's longtime steward. Toadsworth is very concerned for the princess's well-being and takes care of the other Toads. He is known for his English accent and use of old-fashioned English phrases. Although he can be somewhat flustered and over-worried, Toadsworth's loyalty and sense of duty towards the princess are unwavering. He has appeared in numerous games, not only as a key character in the main storyline, but also in spin-offs such as Mario Party, Mario Golf, and Mario Kart. He has also played significant roles in the Mario & Luigi series and as a playable character in the Mario Baseball series. Toadsworth is not only a loyal servant to Princess Peach but also a reliable ally to Mario and Luigi.
