Chargin' Chucks are enemies that debuted in Super Mario World as large, burly Koopas wearing American football gear. They sport white helmets with blue and orange stripes, blue shoulder pads, red spiked cleats, and black shells, with chubby, infant-like faces and small, squinting black eyes. In Super Mario 3D World, they are revealed to have two spiky tufts of blue hair when their helmets are off. Chargin' Chucks are known for their durability and varied attacks, including throwing baseballs, kicking footballs, and flinging rocks with a shovel. They can also break through Rotating Blocks and Grab Blocks. Defeating them often requires multiple jumps or special items. Chargin' Chucks have appeared in various Mario games, such as Super Mario Odyssey and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, each time with slightly different behaviors and attack patterns, making them a recognizable and formidable enemy in the Super Mario universe.
