Shy Guy, known as ヘイホー (Heiho) in Japanese, is a recurring and iconic enemy in the Mario series. They first appeared in *Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic* and were introduced to the Mario franchise with the release of *Super Mario Bros. 2*. Shy Guys are characterized by their white masks and robes that conceal their entire body, with their true faces never being revealed. They are commonly associated with Bowser's forces, although they initially served under Wart. Shy Guys come in various colors and forms, each with different behaviors and abilities in the games.
