They typically consist of several spherical body segments covered in spikes. Pokeys were initially green but usually appear yellow since Super Mario World, sometimes with a flower or spikes on their head. They're commonly found in desert areas and slowly chase after the player. They can be defeated in various ways, such as jumping on them, throwing objects, or using character-specific abilities. Various Pokey variants exist, such as Snow Pokeys or Poison Pokeys.
Kamek is Bowser's advisor and a high-ranking member of his army, serving as a significant antagonist in the Super Mario series. Kamek is a powerful sorcerer who uses a magic wand to cast various spells, such as teleportation, enemy creation, and the ability to shrink and grow objects. He first appeared in Yoshi's Island and serves as a primary foe of Yoshi. Kamek typically appears in a blue robe and wizard hat, often accompanied by his magic broom. Kamek is both an enemy in the main Mario series and sometimes appears as a playable character in spin-offs.
