Yoshito Godou

Yoshito Godou is a significant supporting character in "My Happy Marriage" (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon). He is a soldier belonging to the Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit and serves as Kiyoka Kudou's aide-de-camp and right-hand man. Yoshito has short black hair, hazel eyes, and round facial features. He typically wears a standard black military uniform. Yoshito often gives the impression of being casual, carefree, and even a bit shallow, but he is a capable Gift-user. His father, Ichito Godou, was the former commander of the Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit and was highly esteemed by his men. Yoshito studied abroad and, after his father's death, initially blamed Kiyoka Kudou, but eventually joined the unit. Despite his seemingly laid-back demeanor, Yoshito is very loyal to Kiyoka and supports him both professionally and privately. He also has a close relationship with Kaoruko Jinnouchi from the same unit, whom he worked with in the Imperial Capital. Yoshito is severely injured in an explosion in Volume 3 and undergoes a long recovery. He also interacts with the female protagonist, Miyo Saimori, and has assisted her on several occasions.
