Arata Usuba

Arata Usuba, publicly known as Arata Tsuruki, is a significant character in "My Happy Marriage." He is the heir of the Usuba family, the son of Mr. Usuba, the nephew of Sumi Usuba, and the cousin of Miyo Saimori. He works for Tsuruki Trading Company as a negotiator. Arata possesses the ability to create illusions and is tasked by the Emperor to keep Miyo at the Usuba estate, leveraging her powers. While outwardly handsome and seemingly kind, he is internally cold and apathetic, caring little about others. He perceives himself as an empty vessel, maintaining his facade for a sense of purpose. Raised in the Usuba household to hone his abilities, he witnessed the family's decline. Miyo's arrival offers him a sense of direction, viewing her as his first cause. He attempts to defeat Kiyoka Kudou through illusionary tactics but fails. Overall, Arata Usuba is a complex and conflicted character, with his internal struggles and search for self-worth being central themes in the story.
